The subscription for Pinwheel covers the software on both the child's device and the Caregiver Portal.
The software and the hardware go hand in hand. Which means if you were to cancel the subscription then the software on the device would deactivate and the phone would be essentially useless.
We've come to find that there's multiple solutions when your kiddo is ready to graduate out of the Pinwheel experience:
- Pass the phone off to a younger sibling and set up an account for them, and then get your kiddo a new device, as celebration of course.
- Reach out to Customer Care and ask for a "device graduation", we'll clear Pinwheel off the device and it's yours to do with as you please. (You paid for it, after all!)
