Tools that are not working can be stressful for both you and child! We want to do everything we can on our end to ensure you're successful in getting those tools working for your child.
General Understanding
Third party applications are not owned nor operated by Pinwheel. Thus, we're only able to help when it's something we can control on our side.
Logins - If you're running into login issue within the 3rd party application, you will need to reach out to that app's support team as we do not have access to their logins.
Mobile Device Management (MDM) - Pinwheel utilizes this to be able to lock down certain areas of the operating system so your child cannot access. If a third party application also utilizes MDM then it cannot be approved as a mobile device only allows one MDM running at a time. For example, Google Family Link also utilizes MDM and will not run with Pinwheel.
Approved App Won't Download
1. Check that your device is connected to Wifi. Applications will not download off of WiFi.
2. Confirm the application is approved within the current mode.
If the mode your device is currently on does not allow for that application, then it will not download. It will download once the phone switches to a mode where it is approved within.
Example Below: If you were trying to download the app Headspace, it would not download as that is approved within School Mode and the phone is currently in Everything Mode which does not have Headspace approved within.
