Introduction
Caregivers and their kids have two different accounts. The Caregiver Account will be used on the Caregiver Portal/App, where you will facilitate the activities on your kid's device. The Child Account will be used to log in to their device and ensure it's unique to them. This is especially important if you have multiple kids or devices to manage on the Caregiver app.
Caregiver Accounts
Please note:
- You'll want to use YOUR email and not your child's email. This email will be used not only for the monitoring software but also for other purposes, such as changing parental-only settings on the Pinwheel device itself, as well as submitting requests through Customer Care (ie. billing and information changes).
- Your phone number is used to add you as the initial emergency contact for the Pinwheel device.
- You'll be able to use both your email or username as a login for your Caregiver app.
- Keep your password safe. Having it written down helps, but make sure your child doesn't have access to it. If you've forgotten your password, there's an article for that here.
Third, if you purchased your phone outside of the Pinwheel.com shop (like Amazon, for example), please select [Other, I bought through another site or source]. It will allow you to add your billing and payment details to start Pinwheel Subscription. Families who have purchased their Pinwheel device through our website shop should automatically have a subscription ready to use, in which case, select [Direct, I bought it on Pinwheel.com].
Child Accounts
After successfully creating your Caregiver Account, you'll be taken to the Child Account creation screen. If you weren't, you can go ahead and log in to your Caregiver Account, then click on the "Add Child" button located either at the top left corner of the screen for Desktop/PC users or by clicking the drop-down button next to the Pinwheel icon for mobile users.
You will be asked to select the device for which the Child Account will be used: choose either the Pinwheel Phone or Pinwheel Watch. For some instances, you may be directed to the billing screen to add/confirm your billing credentials.
Fill up the necessary information and you should be good to go!

- Only use numbers and letters for the username; no spaces or special characters are allowed.
