In this article, you'll learn how to print your child's approved contacts from Pinwheel Home or save them as a PDF. It's a quick way to create a simple family phone book your child can keep nearby and reference anytime.
How do I print my contacts in Pinwheel Home?
You can print your contacts right from the Caregiver Portal in just a few taps or clicks. The printed version opens as a clean, one page list that includes each contact's name and phone number.
- Open the Pinwheel Caregiver Portal on your phone or computer.
- Go to Contacts.
- Tap or click the print icon in the top right corner of the Contacts screen, next to the search and add buttons.
- Wait for the print preview to open.
- Under Destination, select your printer.
- Press Print.
That's it. You now have a paper copy of your child's approved contacts that they can keep by the Pinwheel Home or carry with them.
How do I save my contacts as a PDF?
You can use the same print tool to save a digital copy instead of printing on paper. This is a great option if you want a backup or want to share the list with another caregiver.
- Open the Pinwheel Caregiver Portal on your phone or computer.
- Go to Contacts.
- Tap or click the print icon in the top right corner of the Contacts screen, next to the search and add buttons.
- In the print preview, check that your contacts appear as a clean, one page list with each contact's name and phone number.
- Under Destination, select Save as PDF.
- Press Save.
- Choose where to store the file on your device.
What will the printed contact list look like?
When you open the print preview, your contacts appear as a clean, one page list. Each entry includes the contact's name and phone number, which makes it easy to use as a simple family phone book.
What if I need to update my contacts first?
If your contact list needs changes before you print it, update it in the Contacts section first. Once your list is up to date, you can print it or save it as a PDF.
