We are proud to announce the launch of our very own Pinwheel Watch—a standalone device for your child’s wrist, designed for middle schoolers ready for more independence. Thoughtfully built with a sleek, minimal bezel, the Pinwheel Watch includes dual cameras, built-in Pinwheel GPT for voice and text AI assistance, GPS tracking, and its own number for calls, texts, and MMS. Pinwheel’s Caregiver Portal also allows for smart scheduling and mode management to support healthy routines. It’s everything they need to stay connected—safely.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
How do I setup my Pinwheel Watch
Your Pinwheel Watch should have come with instructions on how to setup and pair your Pinwheel Watch to your Caregiver app. Please make sure to connect your watch using a secure, private Wi-Fi connection since it will need to download updates and fixes to help with its functionality.
-
Does it need a phone to be connected to in order for calls and texts to work?
The Pinwheel Watch is a Standalone device and does not need to be connected to a Pinwheel phone for it to work. It cannot be connected to another device and has its own phone number, as well as its own talk and text features.
-
Can I purchase the Pinwheel Watch without the subscription
No, the Pinwheel Watch comes bundled with both Pinwheel Cellular plan and Caregiver Portal subscriptions. The Caregiver Portal is mandatory for you to be able to monitor your child's calls, texts, and location, as well as other parental features.
-
Is the Pinwheel Watch compatible with other carriers?
We have not tested the Pinwheel Watch with other carriers since we've designed the device with our own Pinwheel Wireless in mind. The Pinwheel Watch is also not compatible with any eSIM.
-
How can I check if Pinwheel Watch's Cellular Service is available in my area?
You may use T-Mobile's Coverage map to confirm availability in your area. Please note that the Pinwheel Watch uses 4G LTE for data connectivity.
-
Are you going to sell accessories with the Pinwheel watch
We plan to release different strap options in the future. As for cases and screen protectors, the Pinwheel Watch is designed to be durable, so we don't plan on releasing any protective accessories at the moment.
-
Can the watch dial 911 and other emergency numbers?
You may enable 911 and other emergency contacts by adding them to the Pinwheel Watch via your Caregiver Portal. We leave the option for parents to judge whether the user is responsible enough to dial these emergency numbers without supervision.
